Boiler Operator

As a Boiler Operator at our company, your role will involve operating and monitoring boiler systems to ensure they function safely and efficiently. You will be responsible for adjusting controls to generate specified amounts of steam or heat, as well as conducting routine checks and inspections of boilers and auxiliary equipment. Troubleshooting and repair of boiler systems in case of malfunctions or breakdowns will also be part of your key responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Operate and monitor boiler systems to ensure safety and efficiency - Adjust controls to generate specified amounts of steam or heat - Conduct routine checks and inspections of boilers and auxiliary equipment - Troubleshoot and repair boiler systems to address malfunctions or breakdowns - Clean and lubricate parts as needed - Replace or repair valves, gauges, feedwater lines, and other boiler components - Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries - Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and operational logs - Optimize boiler efficiency and performance through regular maintenance and adjustments - Monitor fuel consumption and adjust controls for efficient fuel usage - Implement energy-saving measures and identify opportunities for improving system performance Qualifications: - Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training or certification in boiler operation is preferred - Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience operating and maintaining boilers or similar equipment - Licensure/Certification: Boiler Operator license or certification as required by local regulations Skills: - Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills - Knowledge of boiler systems, controls, and safety protocols - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints - Basic understanding of electrical systems and controls - Proficiency in using hand and power tools About the Company: Unique Organics is a BSE listed company established in 1993.
