Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Biomedical Engineer, based in Amritsar. The role involves ensuring the optimal performance of medical equipment by conducting routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing preventive measures. The Biomedical Engineer will collaborate with clinical teams to provide technical support, oversee medical device repairs, and maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance activities. The role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability and safety of medical technologies for healthcare operations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in capital Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance practices
• Hands-on experience with Medical Equipment and Biomedical Engineering principles
• Knowledge of Clinical Engineering applications and best practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
• Relevant degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related technical field
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with clinical teams
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance for medical devices is a plus
• Willingness to work on-site in Amritsar
