Roles and Responsibilities of Bio Medical Engineer

• Smooth operation of instruments in the Hospital & Ensuring high degree of efficiency of all equipments in the Hospital.
• To identify vendors for minor requirements and quick rectification of problems
• Monitoring regular Preventive maintenance for all equipments & instruments
• Assuring all instruments are calibrated and covered in Annual Maintenance Contract
• Documentation for every equipment for the purpose of monitoring its performance
• To provide technical input during selection of any new Hospital equipment.
• Closely interact with Managing Director during the process of selection, procurement and Installation of equipment
• Play a key role in decommissioning of equipment-starting from identification of defective and irreparable equipment to their final disposal.
• Negotiate with vendors for various types of maintenance contracts
• Responsible for maintaining records of complaints and turnaround time for solving the Same
• Day to day routine maintenance of equipments
• Attending to complaints from various departments of the hospital
• Carrying our preventive maintenance as per schedule
• Daily reporting of his activities to the Admin Manager and MD

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
