Job Overview:

Simulation & Skill Lab

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation, configuration, routine calibration, and troubleshooting of:

• Mannequins

  (low to high fidelity)

• Clinical simulators

  (laparoscopy, endoscopy, obstetric, etc.)

• Virtual simulation platforms and related IT hardware/software

• Perform daily pre-use checks and maintenance of simulation equipment.
• Ensure software updates, license management, and backups for simulators and IT systems.
• Coordinate with simulation vendors and OEMs for repairs, AMC/CMC, and technical support.
• Assist in the setup and technical operation of simulation sessions.
• Maintain detailed inventory and maintenance logs for all skill lab equipment.
• Ensure adherence to infection control and equipment hygiene protocols.
• Provide basic orientation to faculty and students on simulator use and functionality.
• Document and escalate equipment-related issues to higher authorities in a timely manner.

Required Skills:

• Working knowledge of

  simulation equipment, medical mannequins, task trainers

  , and healthcare IT systems.
• Familiarity with

  network setup, system configuration

  , and software troubleshooting.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with clinical and technical teams.
• Willingness to learn vendor-specific simulation platforms and tools.
• Strong documentation and report maintenance abilities.

Eligibility:

• B.E. / B. Tech in

  Biomedical Engineering

  from a recognized institute.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience.
• Exposure to skill lab environments or simulation-based training systems will be an advantage.
