Assistant Librarian

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist users with creating logins, troubleshooting access, and navigating scientific databases.
• Maintain records of digital library usage and gather user feedback.
• Provide in-person support to departments, including help with database usage and content editing.
• Support faculty with presentation material and teaching content.
• Help staff and students with literature searches and access to reference materials.
• Organize training and orientation sessions on library tools and digital resources.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Library Science (B.Lib.Sc / M.Lib.Sc) preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in a medical or academic library environment.
• Familiar with library management systems, cloud-based tools, and scientific databases.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and research assistance skills.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time, based at our hospital in New Delhi.
• Regular administrative hours with occasional extended support during events or audits.
