Job Description As a BIM Modeller specializing in structures, you will be at the forefront of integrating advanced modeling technologies into the construction and design processes. You will play a crucial role in creating detailed and highly accurate 3D models that represent structural elements of buildings and infrastructures. This position requires a deep understanding of BIM applications, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and construction professionals. Your work will significantly contribute to project planning, design validation, and construction sequencing, ensuring that projects meet both aesthetic and functional standards. Responsibilities Develop detailed 3D BIM models with a focus on structural elements. Collaborate with architects and engineers to understand project requirements. Update and maintain models throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring accuracy. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve design conflicts effectively. Utilize Autodesk Revit and other relevant software for creating accurate models. Assist in the preparation of design presentations and construction documents. Ensure BIM standards and protocols are adhered to on all models and drawings. Participate in project meetings to provide updates on modeling progress and issues. Analyze and incorporate data from various sources into BIM processes. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing modeling processes. Provide technical support and training to team members on BIM applications. Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to BIM and project activities. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Proven experience as a BIM Modeller with a focus on structural systems. Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and other industry-standard BIM software. Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and construction processes. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
