Pushpanjali Hospital is a NABH-accredited multispecialty institution known for its advanced medical care, patient-centric approach, and transparent healthcare services. We are looking for a Billing Manager to lead and streamline hospital billing operations with efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.

The Hospital Billing Manager will oversee all billing-related activities, ensuring accuracy in patient billing, insurance claims processing, and financial record management. The role requires a professional with a strong commerce background, hospital billing experience, and leadership ability to coordinate effectively with departments and patients for seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end billing cycle for inpatients, outpatients, and insurance cases.
• Ensure accuracy in billing entries, charge capture, and coding as per hospital policies.
• Supervise daily billing operations, including cash and credit settlements.
• Coordinate with clinical, pharmacy, and diagnostics departments for billing verification.
• Handle insurance pre-authorizations, claim submissions, and follow-ups with TPAs.
• Reconcile patient accounts, verify outstanding balances, and ensure timely collections.
• Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly billing reports for management.
• Train and monitor billing staff to maintain service quality and data accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with NABH, finance, and audit requirements.
• Address billing-related queries and resolve discrepancies in a patient-friendly manner.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Education:
• Graduate or Post-Graduate in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com) – Mandatory
• MBA (Finance / Hospital Administration) – Preferred
• Experience:
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in hospital billing operations.
• Strong understanding of health insurance, TPA processes, and hospital billing systems.
• Experience in NABH-accredited hospital setups preferred.
