Billing Engineer

Role Overview

The Billing & Planning Head will be responsible for end-to-end project planning, scheduling, monitoring, billing, cost control, and MIS reporting for construction projects. This role ensures alignment between project timelines, site progress, billing, and cash flow while coordinating closely with site teams, consultants, and management.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning, Monitoring & Control

• Lead end-to-end project planning activities, including preparation and tracking of master and detailed schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly site progress against approved schedules and identify deviations.
• Analyze delays and develop catch-up and recovery plans in coordination with site execution and engineering teams.
• Ensure alignment between construction progress, milestones, and overall project timelines.
• Prepare and present planning MIS, progress reports, dashboards, and review presentations to senior management.

Billing, Cost Control & Cash Flow Management

• Manage complete contractor and vendor billing, including RA bills, measurements, BOQ control, certification, and reconciliation.
• Ensure billing is aligned with approved schedules, contractual terms, and actual site progress.
• Coordinate with QS, contracts, procurement, and finance teams for timely processing and approval of bills.
• Monitor cost variations and support claims, variations, and change orders.
• Ensure effective cost control, forecasting, and cash flow management.

Contract Coordination & MIS Reporting

• Support project and contracts teams in tracking billing milestones, variations, and contractual obligations.
• Maintain accurate and updated documentation related to planning, billing, and cost control.
• Prepare consolidated weekly and monthly MIS reports, dashboards, and management review reports.

Team Leadership & Site Coordination

• Lead, guide, and mentor planning engineers, QS, and billing teams at site and HO.
• Act as a single point of coordination between site execution teams, consultants, head office, and management.
• Ensure effective communication, accountability, and performance across planning and billing functions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
