Job Description

Job Summary:

Billing Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and submit accurate and timely project bills, running accounts, and final billing statements for interior fit-out works.
Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement, and accounts teams to gather necessary data for billing.
Verify measurements, quantities, and work completion details as per drawings, BOQ, and contract documents.
Reconcile discrepancies and resolve issues related to billing, claims, and variations.
Assist in contract interpretation, cost control, and ensure adherence to client requirements and timelines.
Maintain proper documentation, reports, and records for audit and financial analysis.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors for approvals, clarifications, and payment follow-ups.
Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and support project forecasting.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.

Qualifications:

Diploma in Civil Engineering or B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
1 -3 years of experience in billing and costing for interior fit-out or construction projects.
Good understanding of measurement sheets, BOQ, drawings, and contracts.
Proficient in MS Excel, billing software, and documentation tools.
Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
