Design Associate (Architect)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop

  conceptual designs, detailed drawings, and presentations

  for interior design and fit-out projects.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and project teams to understand design requirements and translate them into creative solutions.
• Prepare

  working drawings, tender drawings, GFC (Good for Construction) drawings

  , and detailed BOQs for execution.
• Ensure design compliance with

  building codes, safety standards, and material specifications

  .
• Coordinate with

  vendors, contractors, and site teams

  to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review

  shop drawings and material submittals

  to align with design intent.
• Conduct

  site visits

  for design implementation, quality checks, and resolving design-related challenges.
• Keep updated with the latest

  design trends, materials, and technologies

  in interiors and fit-outs.
• Assist in

  client presentations, design approvals, and project documentation

  .

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong background in

  Interior Architecture, Fit-out Design, and Space Planning

  .
• Proficiency in

  AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit (preferred), Photoshop, MS Office

  and other relevant design tools.
• Good understanding of

  construction detailing, material specifications, and finishes

  .
• Excellent

  communication, presentation, and coordination skills

  .
• Strong

  problem-solving ability

  and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage

  multiple projects and deadlines

  simultaneously.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Architecture / Interior Design

  from a recognized institution.
• 4+ years of experience in

  interior design firms, preferably in corporate/commercial fit-out projects
