Position : BFS Risk Solution & Analytics (ECL)

• Location: Mumbai

• Experience: 6-12 Years

• Reporting to: Head of Banking & Financial Services (Risk Solutions & Analytics)

• Education: MBA/PGDM, FRM (optional)

Role Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• IFRS 9 Implementation: Lead the implementation of IFRS 9 models in compliance with RBI guidelines.

• Project Management: Oversee credit risk projects, ensuring timely and efficient execution.

• Model Validation: Validate credit policies and models for accuracy and regulatory compliance.

• Risk Strategies: Develop and enhance statistical models for ECL, PD, LGD, and EAD.

• Industry Insights: Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices into strategies.

• Team Leadership: Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of continuous learning.

• Process Improvement: Create and circulate SOPs, develop new methods to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

• Client Communication: Articulate issues and provide solutions clearly to clients and senior analysts both verbally and in writing.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Project Management: Proven ability to manage complex projects and cross-functional teams.

• Communication: Excellent skills in presenting complex information clearly.

• Certifications: FRM or related certifications are advantageous.

Technical Expertise:

• IFRS 9 Models: Hands-on experience with IFRS 9 implementation and RBI regulations.

• Credit Risk Modeling: Proficiency in ECL calculations and statistical analysis using SAS, R, or Python.

• Risk Assessment: Expertise in assessing and mitigating credit risk.

• Financial Modeling: Advanced skills in financial modeling and forecasting.

• Regulatory Compliance: Deep understanding of RBI guidelines and credit risk regulations.

• Data Management: Proficiency in data extraction and analysis to support risk modeling.
