Job Profile : Sales Manager – Power Cables

Department: Sales & Marketing

Location: South Delhi

Qualification : B.E / B.Tech (Electrical)/Diploma in Electrical Engineering /MBA

Experience: 7–15 Years (Power / Electrical Cables Industry)

Job Summary

The Sales Manager – Power Cables is responsible for driving sales growth, developing key accounts, expanding market presence, and managing the sales team for LV/MV/HV power cables. The role involves B2B sales, project business, dealer/distributor management, and coordination with internal teams to achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

·  Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

·   Handle B2B sales for power cables (LV, MV, HV) across industrial, infrastructure, EPC, and utility sectors.

·   Identify and develop new customers, dealers, distributors, and project opportunities.

·    Manage key accounts and maintain strong relationships with consultants, EPC contractors, and government departments.

·    Lead negotiations on pricing, credit terms, and contracts in coordination with management.

·    Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.

·    Coordinate with production, dispatch, and accounts teams to ensure timely order execution and payment collection.

·      Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and pipeline tracking.

·      Participate in tenders, pre-bid meetings, and technical-commercial discussions.

·     Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to improve performance and productivity.

·    Strong knowledge of the power cable market

·    Excellent negotiation and communication skills

·    Ability to manage large accounts and project sales

·    Leadership and team management skills

·    Strong analytical and MIS reporting ability

·    Willingness to travel extensively
