About The Role
We are looking for a high-impact Business Development Head to drive strategic growth, expand our client base, and build strong partnerships. The ideal candidate will lead revenue generation, open new markets, and convert high-value opportunities while working closely with senior leadership.This role is built for a BD leader who thrives on building relationships, closing large deals, and driving business expansion end-to-end.Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Growth & Market Expansion
- Own and deliver revenue targets across different industrial sectors.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in domestic and global markets.
- Build and manage a strong, qualified sales pipeline aligned to organizational growth priorities.
- Expand the company’s footprint by entering new markets, unlocking new verticals, and acquiring strategic clients.
- Client Acquisition & Key Account Management
- Build strong relationships with CXOs, business heads, marketing and strategic leaders, and key decision-makers.
- Lead end-to-end BD cycles - prospecting, pitch development, proposals, negotiations, and deal closure.
- Ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships through consistent engagement and value delivery.
- Grow key accounts by identifying additional opportunities within existing client portfolios.
- Strategic BD Planning
- Develop and implement BD strategies aligned with company objectives and sector opportunities.
- Stay updated with industry developments, competitor strategies, pricing trends, and policy changes.
- Convert industry insights into actionable strategies to stay ahead of the market.
- Define clear growth plans, quarterly targets, and measurable outcomes for the BD function.
- Collaboration & Internal Alignment
- Work closely with Research, Consulting, Operations, and Leadership teams to build solutions tailored to client needs.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure smooth execution post-deal closure.
- Support capability-building efforts by identifying new service lines or offerings based on market demand.
- Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and mentor the BD team to achieve revenue goals and develop a performance-driven culture.
- Establish clear KPIs, monitor performance, and ensure continuous skill development within the team.
- Foster a collaborative, results-oriented work environment.

- 10+ years of Business Development experience in research and strategic consulting
- Proven track record of driving revenue and closing high-value deals.
