The Bartender at The Spirited Spot is not just a drink maker — they are an artist, a storyteller, and a key part of the guest experience. This role requires someone who is passionate about craft cocktails, understands flavour balance, and can deliver a consistently premium guest experience while working in a high-energy, experience-led bar environment. As TSS continues expanding from its flagship Nagpur outlet to its new Baner, Pune location, the Bartender will play a crucial role in upholding and elevating the brand’s mixology standards.

Core Responsibilities

1. Craft Cocktail Preparation

• Prepare all cocktails as per TSS signature recipes, techniques, and presentation standards.
• Maintain deep knowledge of the TSS signature cocktail menu, classics, spirits, infusions, bitters, syrups, and garnishes.
• Create visually striking, balanced, and consistent drinks every time.
• Support the development of new cocktails, seasonal menus, and specials.

2. Guest Engagement & Experience

• Provide warm, confident, and friendly interaction with guests seated at the bar.
• Explain cocktails, flavour profiles, and serve recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Build rapport with regular guests and create memorable bar-counter experiences.
• Handle special requests with professionalism and creativity.

3. Bar Operations & Hygiene

• Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked bar at all times.
• Ensure proper storage, labelling, and rotation of all bar ingredients.
• Maintain 100% hygiene and safety compliance, including equipment sanitisation.
• Follow opening, closing, and shift change SOPs strictly.

4. Inventory & Stock Management

• Track daily usage of spirits, garnishes, syrups, fruits, and mixes.
• Report shortages, breakages, and replenishment needs to the Bar Manager.
• Ensure minimal wastage and prevent pilferage with strict stock discipline.
• Prepare batches, pre-mixes, and infusions on time as per recipes.

5. Coordination & Teamwork

• Work closely with Bar Manager, Service Team, and Kitchen Team to maintain smooth operations.
• Support bar-backs and junior staff with guidance and training.
• Handle rush hours with speed, accuracy, and composure.

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 

  2–4 years

   of experience as a Bartender in premium bars, hotels, or high-volume nightlife venues.
• Strong understanding of spirits, cocktail families, mixology techniques, and bar tools.
• Excellent communication and guest interaction skills.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain high-quality output under pressure.
• Knowledge of bar hygiene, alcohol handling protocols, and safety standards.
• High grooming standards and a professional, energetic presence.
