Job Title: Banquet Sales Manager Department: Banquet Sales & Marketing Reports To: General Manager Location: CAG Hotels Pvt Ltd Job Type: Full-time Experience: 3–7 years in banquet sales Education: Degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field Job Description: The Banquet Sales Manager is responsible for driving banquet and event sales at the hotel. This includes acquiring new business, maintaining relationships with existing clients, planning and coordinating events, and ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction. The role demands a mix of sales acumen, event coordination skills, and a deep understanding of Hotel service standards. Key Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Sales and Business Development: Identify and pursue new banquet sales opportunities through cold calls, networking, client visits, and referrals. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs. Negotiate rates and packages to maximize revenue while maintaining competitiveness. Meet and exceed banquet sales revenue targets and monthly/quarterly goals. 2. Client/ Guest Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, wedding planners, event agencies, and individuals. Conduct site visits and walkthroughs with potential clients. Provide personalized event consultations and ensure smooth client experience from inquiry to post-event follow-up. Ensure events are executed to the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction. Handle complaints or issues before, during, and after events professionally. Gather client feedback and implement improvements to enhance future service delivery. 3. Event Planning & Coordination: Collaborate with banquet operations, F&B, kitchen, and other hotel departments to ensure seamless event execution. Create detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and ensure proper communication of event details across departments. Address client requirements and last-minute changes efficiently and professionally. 4. Administration & Reporting: Maintain an updated database of clients and events using CRM or property management software. Generate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for management. Monitor competitor activities and market trends to adjust sales strategies accordingly. Annual and Quarterly Budget Planning/ Profitability Analysis/Forecasting/Collaboration & Coordination/Client and Market Analysis. Work with F&B, Finance, and Banquet Operations teams to align sales goals with capacity and operational efficiency.
