ESSENTIAL ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Sales & Business DevelopmentDevelop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.Identify new business opportunities, including corporate events, weddings, social gatherings,and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions).Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, wedding planners,and travel agents.Conduct sales calls, site inspections, and client meetings to promote banquet offerings.Negotiate contracts, pricing, and packages to maximize profitability while ensuring clientsatisfaction.Client Relationship ManagementProvide personalized service and consultation to clients, understanding their eventrequirements and customizing solutions.Maintain ongoing communication with clients from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up.Address and resolve client concerns or special requests with a customer-first approach.Event Planning & CoordinationWork closely with the banquet operations and culinary teams to ensure seamless executionof events.Assist in menu planning, seating arrangements, and event logistics in alignment with clientexpectations.Ensure all contractual obligations are met, including deposits, final payments, and eventschedules.Marketing & Brand PositioningCollaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies, offers, andcampaigns.Represent the banquet venue at industry events, exhibitions, and networking platforms.Maintain a strong online and offline presence to attract high-profile clientele.Revenue Management & ReportingTrack and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to senior management.Ensure adherence to budgeted revenue and profitability goal QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in banquet sales, catering sales, or event management in apremium/luxury hospitality setup. Strong network in the corporate, wedding, and event planning industries. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple clients/events simultaneously. Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and sales reporting tools. A keen eye for detail and passion for delivering exceptional client experiences
