Job Description

INDICATORS OF SUCCESS
Financial (GOP, Restaurant Reenue, Aerage Check, Labour Control)
Customer Satisfaction & loyalty goals (Medallia Score, comment cards, annual quality reiew)
Achieement of employee engagement surey (Kenexa) and retention goals for department
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Organizes functions and eents for hotel clients
Assists guest in organizing functions within hotel ability
Consistently uses banquet process and follows brand standards
Schedules staff to proide coerage for banquet eents
Communicates with eent hosts/clients throughout eent
Directs banquet setup and scheduling
Leads Banquet Eent Order (BEO) meetings on a weekly basis
Reiews BEO s for errors and makes corrections
Anticipates banquet scheduling and supply needs based on BEO s and forecasting
Communicates regularly with Sales, Catering, and Kitchen to coordinate eents
Inspects Banquet Rooms to ensure setup meets client expectations
Manages scheduling, training, and performance of banquet employees
Recruits and selects qualified candidates
Proides employees with the orientation and training needed to understand expectations and perform job responsibilities
Communicates performance expectations and proides employees with on-going feedback
Proides employees with coaching and counseling as needed to achiee performance objecties and reach their fullest potential
Schedules employees to meet banquet labor expense projections and staff eents
Tracks banquet supplies and makes orders
Reiews contracts with banquet endors
Orders linens, food products, equipment, and other banquet supplies to meet department needs
Leads quarterly inentories
Creates 100% guest satisfaction by proiding the Yes I Can! experience through performance that demonstrates the standards of, genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations
Gies personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when proiding guest serice
Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resoling guest problems
Proides Yes I Can! genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis
Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction
Performs other duties required to proide the serice brand behaior and genuine hospitality
Adheres to hotel policies and procedures
Attends work on time and as scheduled
Follows hotel grooming and hygiene standards
Minimise safety hazards by following all safety rules and procedures
Keeps Manager promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achiee the oerall objecties of this position
Maintains a faourable working relationship with all other hotel employees to foster and promote a co-operatie and harmonious working enironment
At all times projects a faourable image of the Hotel to the public
