Banking Workforce Team Member-BPS

The Banking Workforce Team Member will be responsible for executing day-to-day banking process operations within the Business Process Services (BPS) unit. This role ensures accurate, efficient, and compliant handling of financial transactions, customer requests, and back-office activities. The position requires attention to detail, adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs), and strong teamwork to support seamless banking services.

1. Process Operations

• Handle routine banking operations such as account opening/closure, KYC verification, fund transfers, loan processing, card services, reconciliation, etc.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
• Manage data entry, transaction processing, and document verification activities.
• Support resolution of customer or branch escalations through back-office support.

1. Compliance & Risk Management

• Adhere to all banking regulations, policies, and data security guidelines.
• Follow anti-money laundering (AML), fraud detection, and risk control procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and organizational data.

1. Service Quality & SLAs

• Meet defined SLAs, turnaround times (TAT), and performance metrics.
• Ensure error-free processing with a focus on first-time-right (FTR) delivery.
• Support quality audits, internal reviews, and process improvements.

1. Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with colleagues, supervisors, and cross-functional teams.
• Escalate issues proactively to ensure quick resolution.
• Participate in knowledge sharing, training sessions, and process updates.

1. Continuous Improvement

• Suggest process enhancements to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
• Stay updated on banking products, policies, and technology platforms.
