About The Opportunity
A leading organiser in the healthcare services and healthtech sector focused on clinical operations, patient-care delivery, and scalable care models across India. We partner with hospitals, clinics, and digital-health platforms to drive clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and sustainable growth.We are hiring an experienced Medical Director (on-site, India) with clinical credentials (BAMS or MBBS) plus an MBA in Healthcare or equivalent business experience to lead clinical strategy, operations, and quality for fast-growing care programs.Role & Responsibilities
- Set clinical strategy and operational priorities: translate organisational goals into measurable clinical KPIs and roadmaps across services and locations.
- Lead clinical governance and compliance: design and enforce protocols, SOPs, and accreditation-readiness across care pathways.
- Drive quality improvement and patient-safety initiatives: implement audits, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement cycles to raise care standards.
- Partner with commercial, product and tech teams to integrate clinical workflows into digital platforms, telemedicine, and remote-monitoring solutions.
- Manage clinical teams and talent development: recruit, mentor and evaluate doctors, nurses and allied health staff to build high-performing care units.
- Own clinical budgets and vendor relationships: optimise cost-of-care, negotiate clinical partnerships, and ensure efficient resource utilisation.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- MBBS or BAMS (required) with active registration and valid practising licence in India.
- MBA in Healthcare Management or equivalent business leadership experience (min 5+ years in combined clinical & managerial roles).
- 5+ years’ experience in clinical leadership, hospital operations, or medical management roles with demonstrable outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of Indian clinical regulations, accreditation standards (NABH/RGCI familiarity preferred), and patient-safety frameworks.
- Proven ability to set clinical KPIs, run audits, and deliver quality-improvement initiatives that reduce variation and improve outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills—experience working with cross-functional teams, vendors and external partners.
Preferred
- Experience in healthtech, telemedicine, or digital clinical workflows and integration with EMR/clinical platforms.
- Prior exposure to multi-site operations, franchise/chain clinic models or primary-care networks across India.
- Familiarity with statistical quality tools, clinical data analysis and performance dashboards.
