Description
Job Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs. Build and manage databases, data storage solutions, and caching layers. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Ensure application performance, security, and scalability. Debug and troubleshoot application issues and provide timely resolutions. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines. Write unit and integration tests for backend services. Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in backend development. Required Skills: Proven experience as a backend developer or similar role. Proficiency in one or more backend languages: Node.js, Python, Java. Experience with databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL. Understanding of security, authentication, and authorization protocols (OAuth, JWT). Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus. Experience with version control tools such as Git. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
