Azure Support Engineer

Job Summary:

Azure Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for Azure-based services and resources (VMs, storage, networking, databases, etc.).
• Troubleshoot and resolve Azure-related incidents, performance issues, and service outages.
• Guide internal teams and external clients on Azure architecture, service offerings, and platform capabilities.
• Assist in the implementation and configuration of Azure services based on business and technical requirements.
• Monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents.
• Escalate issues to manager or engineering teams when necessary.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• College degree in a related field or practical experience in a related field.
• 2+ years of experience implementing and supporting cloud infrastructure on Azure.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure services, including Scripting/automation skill in PowerShell, Bash, Python or Ansible. Data Factory, Terraform.
• Working knowledge with Kubernetes.
• Database Knowledge, Cosmo DB, MYSQL, MongoDB or NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Virtual Machines, Azure Networking, Azure AD, Storage Accounts, and Monitoring.
• Familiarity with Azure pricing models, cost management, and governance best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), Azure Administrator (AZ-104), or other relevant certifications.
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards in the cloud.
