Automation Engineer

We are seeking an Automation Engineer to join our team, responsible for building and maintaining automation solutions for infrastructure deployment, configuration management, and operational workflows. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with cloud platforms, automation tools, and scripting languages to streamline infrastructure provisioning and management. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automation workflows using **Terraform**, **Ansible**, and other configuration management tools. Manage and optimize **OpenStack** environments for scalable infrastructure deployment. Work with Kubernetes (**K8s**) for containerized workloads and orchestration. Develop and maintain automation scripts in **Python** to improve operational efficiency. Implement and manage **virtualization solutions** including **VMware** and **VDI** environments. Apply **IP networking and related technologies** in automation workflows for network reliability and performance. Integrate automation with monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for proactive issue resolution. Utilize **Git/GitHub** for version control, collaboration, and maintaining automation scripts and infrastructure as code. Requirements Required Qualifications Hands-on experience with **OpenStack, Terraform, and Ansible**. Strong knowledge of **virtualization concepts**, including **VMware and VDI**. Proficiency in **Python** for scripting and automation. Understanding of **IP networking** and its application in infrastructure automation. Experience with **Git/GitHub** for source control and workflow management. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with **Kubernetes (K8s)** and container orchestration. Familiarity with **bare-metal compute management** (e.g., **Redfish API**). Knowledge of **SaltStack** for infrastructure automation. Experience with **Elastic Stack** for logging and monitoring. Background in **networking** and infrastructure design. Bonus Skills: Experience with **network automation** and advanced networking concepts.
