Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of expertise in designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevOps best practices to support continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring for scalable enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Manage and optimize Azure infrastructure (VMs, App Services, AKS, Functions, Storage, Networking, etc.).
Automate infrastructure provisioning using ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
Manage source control (Git), branching strategies, and code quality checks.
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline build and deployment processes.
Ensure security, compliance, and cost optimization within Azure environments.
Manage and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployments, builds, and environments.
Drive adoption of DevOps best practices, including automation, shift-left testing, and continuous feedback loops.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering with a strong focus on Azure.
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards, Artifacts, Test Plans).
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, or Bicep).
Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, YAML scripting, and automation tools.
Experience with Kubernetes (AKS), containerization (Docker), and microservices deployments.
Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, Python, or other scripting languages.
Good understanding of networking, security, and identity management (Azure AD, RBAC, Key Vault).
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack is a plus).
Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Azure Certification (e.g., AZ-400: Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer Expert, AZ-104).
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools.
Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments.
