Job Description

Role Description

  • Administer and maintain the Protegrity Data Protection Platform, including policy configuration, tokenization, and encryption services.
  • Manage Enterprise Security Administrator (ESA), key management, and certificate management activities.
  • Install, upgrade, and configure Protegrity software in on-premises and AWS environments.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability, reliability, and optimal functioning of all Protegrity services.

Troubleshooting & Support

  • Troubleshoot data tokenization and de-tokenization issues across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Resolve platform-related issues using strong troubleshooting and error-handling strategies.
  • Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and ensure effective remediation.
  • Handle incident management and change control processes as per enterprise standards.

Operations & Automation

  • Manage user access, roles, and permissions within the Protegrity platform.
  • Automate and schedule Protegrity log scanning to identify failures and perform regular application health checks.
  • Document configurations, procedures, SOPs, and best practices to ensure operational continuity.

Environment & Infrastructure

  • Work with Unix/Linux operating systems, shell scripting, and enterprise databases (IBM DB2, PostgreSQL, Databricks).
  • Understand networking, firewalls, routing concepts, and secure data transmission protocols.

Nice To Have (Preferred Skills)

  • Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment in AWS.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

Soft Skills & Work Expectations

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Flexible, eager to learn new technologies, and a strong team player.
  • Willing to work on-call shifts (2 PM IST to 11:30 PM IST) and provide weekend support when required for deployments or on-call rotation.
