AWS DevOps Engineer


Brief about the company:


AWS DevOps Engineer


Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure.
  • Implement best practices for scalability, reliability, performance, and security.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Automate software build, test, and deployment processes for faster, more reliable releases.
  • Implement automated rollback and recovery mechanisms to ensure availability during deployment failures.
  • Ensure environment consistency and reproducibility.
  • Implement AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, roles, and permissions.
  • Conduct security assessments and maintain compliance with relevant security standards.
  • Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using AWS CloudWatch, ELK stack, or third-party tools.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with development teams to deploy solutions.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to align deployment processes.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud architectures, processes, and deployment guidelines.
  • Stay updated with the latest AWS advancements and industry trends.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as an AWS DevOps engineer.
  • Strong Shell scripting skills.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK for infrastructure provisioning.
  • Experience with EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and ECS/EKS.
  • Experience with AWS Code Pipeline, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  • Knowledge of best practices in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).
