Entech is headquartered in Malvern, PA with offices around the world. Our team is growing and we are looking for an AWS DevOps Engineer for a long-term collaboration. This is a fully remote position. Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure. Implement best practices for scalability, reliability, performance, and security. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines. Automate software build, test, and deployment processes for faster, more reliable releases. Implement automated rollback and recovery mechanisms to ensure availability during deployment failures. Ensure environment consistency and reproducibility. Implement AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, roles, and permissions. Conduct security assessments and maintain compliance with relevant security standards. Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using AWS CloudWatch, ELK stack, or third-party tools. Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with development teams to deploy solutions. Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to align deployment processes. Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud architectures, processes, and deployment guidelines. Stay updated with the latest AWS advancements and industry trends. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as an AWS DevOps engineer. Strong Shell scripting skills. Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK for infrastructure provisioning. Experience with EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and ECS/EKS. Experience with AWS Code Pipeline, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. Knowledge of best practices in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).
