Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Delivery

S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR, Athena, Lambda, Lake Formation

Design scalable data lakes, real-time analytics solutions, and secure financial data ecosystems.

Create reference architectures, best practices, and reusable solution frameworks.

Client & Stakeholder Leadership

Lead client workshops to gather business, data, and regulatory requirements.

Translate business needs into detailed technical architectures.

Support pre-sales (RFPs, proposals, demos) and present technical solutions to CXO-level stakeholders.

Data Engineering & Governance

PySpark, AWS Glue, Redshift

Implement robust data governance, security, and compliance frameworks (RBI, IRDAI, GDPR, internal audits).

Design data lifecycle, retention, quality, and auditing strategies.

Collaboration & Technical Leadership

Work closely with engineering, data science, DevOps, and security teams.

Optimize compute, storage, and analytics workloads for cost and performance.

Mentor teams and ensure alignment with cloud best practices.

Documentation & Thought Leadership

Prepare architecture documents, design specs, and whitepapers.

Stay updated with emerging technologies in AWS and financial data management.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.

10+ years

Strong experience in:

S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR, Lambda, Athena, Lake Formation

Python, PySpark, SQL

ETL/ELT frameworks & data warehousing

risk, compliance, reporting, AML/Fraud, trading, insurance datasets

Experience with CI/CD, automation, DataOps/DevOps on AWS.

Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills.

Solutions Architect – Professional

Good to have: Kafka, Kinesis, or other streaming platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in regulated BFSI environments (RBI, IRDAI, SEBI).

Led cloud modernization/transformation programs for top-tier financial clients.

Familiarity with 3rd-party data governance/compliance tools.
