As an AVP-Sales, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the operations, growth, and performance of the assigned territory. Your primary objective will be to drive business development, achieve sales targets, and ensure the effective implementation of the company's products or verticals, such as egurukul and DBMCI. You will also be responsible for managing manpower, training and development, marketing activities, competitor analysis, and generating reports and reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Develop and execute a strategic plan for business development in the assigned territory, focusing on promoting and expanding the reach of DBMCI products or verticals. Identify and target potential customers, build relationships, and drive sales growth.
- Manpower Hiring and Retention: Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team of sales and marketing professionals. Ensure proper onboarding, continuous training, and performance management to achieve team targets. Implement retention strategies to minimize employee turnover.
- Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and support to the sales team, equipping them with product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry insights. Identify skill gaps and arrange for appropriate training programs to enhance the team's performance.
- Target Achievement: Set and monitor sales targets for the assigned territory, ensuring consistent progress towards meeting or exceeding goals. Analyze sales data, identify areas of improvement, and implement strategies to optimize performance and revenue generation.
- Marketing Activities: Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute marketing activities in the assigned territory. Develop marketing campaigns, participate in promotional events, and leverage digital marketing channels to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
- Reporting and Review: Generate periodic reports on sales performance, territory achievements, and key metrics. Analyse data and provide insights to senior management for informed decision-making. Conduct regular reviews and meetings with the team to assess progress and address challenges.
- Competitor Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities within the assigned territory. Conduct thorough competitor analysis, identify competitive advantages, and develop strategies to position the company's products effectively.
- Ambassador Support and Monthly Meeting: Provide support to brand ambassadors and coordinate their activities in the assigned territory. Facilitate monthly meetings to align goals, share updates, and ensure effective communication between ambassadors and the company.
