AV Resident Engineer-Onsite

About the Role

Resident AV Engineer

You will be the onsite face of Inviot — responsible for day-to-day AV and printing system upkeep, event support, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and coordination with OEMs and Inviot’s remote service teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 & 2 troubleshooting for AV systems, video conferencing, and printing equipment.
• Maintain Lexmark printers and copiers (toner replacement, paper jam resolution, and diagnostics).
• Coordinate with Lexmark engineers for onsite visits and technical escalations.
• Support and manage meeting rooms, collaboration spaces, and large-scale AV events.
• Conduct preventive maintenance checks and perform software/firmware upgrades on endpoints.
• Provide basic end-user training and ensure smooth AV session experiences.
• Coordinate with Inviot/Yorktel Service Desk and internal teams for incident resolution.
• Participate in root-cause analysis and contribute to service improvement processes.
• Support project activities such as site walks, hardware recommendations, and vendor coordination.
• Act as the primary onsite point of contact for client stakeholders.

Skills & Competencies

• Hands-on experience with

  AV & video conferencing systems

  (Cisco, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom, etc.).
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of

  Lexmark printers/copiers

  .
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Familiarity with tools such as

  ServiceNow, Cisco Control Hub, and Appspace

  (preferred).
• Professional conduct, reliability, and ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Diploma in Electronics, IT, or related field.

• 3–5 years

  of experience in onsite technical support or AV service delivery.
• Experience working in a managed service or client-site environment preferred.

Additional Details

• Full-time onsite role based in Hyderabad.
• May require flexible working hours during events or maintenance windows.
• Must be willing to comply with client site access and background verification requirements.
