SALES MANAGER Job description Distribute and ensure achievement of the overall sales target amongst his team members across all sales territories. Check, Guide and motivate all Sales managers and Sales Force for customer interaction and if Required jointly close the deal. Influencing the sales manager, network manager and sub-dealer to perform in retail sales /purchase different models of vehicles on the base of geographical potential and on historical trends. Establish good contacts with the various key team members in quick resolution of the technical issues faced by the customer Provide proper guidance to all sales force to handle digital & telephonic enquiry on monthly basis and ensure its effectively usage for desired business results. Ensure participation of all DSE for schedule training provide by Yamaha and ensure its effective usage. Timely communication of incentive schemes for Sales Force and ensure they achieve incentives to maintain higher levels of motivation Monitor, and take corrective actions on all sales trend reports Coordinate with Finance Manager to ensure to ensure quick sanction of loans at attractive rates from various financers whenever required. Any other local activities jointly done with other agencies / organization (banks), to push sales in urban / rural / semi-urban areas. Ensure all sales force should follow their own JD. Keep a close watch on after sales actions/ back office to ensure smooth operations and customer delight. To ensure all locations are in up-to-date condition and all technical and hospitality issues are well addressed and maintained. Recruit, hire, train, and oversee a team of automotive salespeople Set sales goals, track progress, and lead the team to achieve and exceed those quotas Coach salespeople on best practices for closing more vehicle deals and provide advice and guidance to improve sales performance Forecast sales for upcoming months and quarters Step in to answer customer questions and issues when required Coordinate and lead all regular sales meetings with the sales staff Develop and manage a CRM platform to retain customers and seek out new prospective sales Maintain a strong focus on the satisfaction of all customers Compile regular reports for dealership management to review To provide leadership and strategy of assigned products and services in the Region; lead Sales Team and achieve the Sales Target. Β· Sales Targets : - Sales Team and ensure achievement of business objective - Achieving sales target in the assigned territory / geography - Establish sales reporting mechanisms as per company standards - Conducting periodic performance reviews of Sales Team. - Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands the banks presence across the geography and ensure its strong presence Team management: - Manage the recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of outsourced sales team - Laisoning with the service provider for onboarding, attendance reporting and timely salary payout of outsourced sales staff - Conducting periodic performance Reviews with the sales team and taking course corrections when required - Establish sales reporting mechanisms and following the reporting formats given from time to time. Achieving Operational Efficiency Timely intervention ensuring sales quality and sales target and repeat business - Study and analyse the service quality by visiting / interacting branches and customers and recommend remedial measures. - Follow up with branches on compliance of internal audit matters, monitor Minimise customer complaints. - Maintain liaison with Zonal Manager/ Area Manager/ Departments in Zonal/ Head Office for speedy resolution of problems faced by branches.
