Job Description

Job Title: Automation Tester

Location:

Automation Tester

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Identify, document, and track defects, and follow up with developers for timely resolution.
Collaborate closely with the QA, development, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
Analyze test results, prepare reports, and suggest process improvements.
Work with AI-based testing tools (if applicable) to enhance test efficiency.
Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and QA strategy discussions.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
Proficiency in any programming language like Java, Python, or JavaScript (Java preferred).
Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
Experience in API automation using tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
Experience with AI/ML-based tools is a strong plus.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
