DevOps Engineer

Position: DevOps Engineer Experience Required: Minimum 4 Years Job Location: Mohali Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in deployment strategies, database management, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and system architecture. This role demands hands-on experience in modern DevOps tools, cloud technologies, and a proactive approach to system optimization, monitoring, and scalability. Key Responsibilities: Deployment Strategies and System Architecture: Design and implement robust deployment strategies for scalable applications. Architect and manage systems for high availability and disaster recovery. Future implementation of Kafka for messaging and stream processing. Database Management: Manage and optimize ScyllaDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch. Ensure regular backups and effective recovery processes. Infrastructure and Automation Tools: Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions. Manage load balancers (ELB), Istio service mesh, and server configuration using tools like NGINX. Utilize K9s for infrastructure management and K6.io for stress and load testing. Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Implement monitoring and alerting solutions using Prometheus, Loki, and Grafana. Ensure optimal performance and uptime of all systems. Cloud and AWS Management: Manage AWS EKS, ECR, IAM roles, and service accounts. Optimize AWS services, including S3 integration, EFS, and Karpenter. Oversee access key management, SSH management, and security best practices. File and Resource Management: Manage AWS EFS for scalable storage solutions. Implement MapBox integration for location-based services. Communication and Domain Management: Set up and manage Twilio, MailGun, cloud PBX, and VoIP systems for company communications. Handle domain management and SSL integration. Application and Vendor Management: Obtain approvals for Play Store app management. Handle legal documentation and approvals from US vendors for SMS or voice call activations. Required Skills and Tools Expertise: Databases: ScyllaDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch.
