Job Summary:

Automation Tester

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop

  automated test scripts

  for web, mobile, and API applications.
• Build, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks using tools like

  Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium

  , or equivalent.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing through automation.
  
• Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify software defects.
  
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  
• Perform

  API automation

  using tools/frameworks such as

  Postman, RestAssured, Karate

  , etc.
• Integrate automated tests into

  CI/CD pipelines

  using Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  
• 6 years of proven experience as an Automation Tester or QA Automation Engineer.
  
• Strong proficiency with automation tools such as

  Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, Appium

  , etc.
• Hands-on experience with any programming languages:

  Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar

  .
• Knowledge of automation frameworks like

  TestNG, JUnit, NUnit, PyTest, Mocha

  .
• Solid understanding of

  SDLC, STLC, BDD/TDD

  , and automation best practices.
• Experience working with version control tools like

  Git/GitHub/GitLab

  .
