Automation QA Engineer

• Understand product requirements and translate them into comprehensive test cases and test plans.
• Own and execute automated testing of SaaS console features, workflows, and integrations.
• Conduct UI testing using Selenium, validating user workflows, UI behavior, and data interactions.
• Design, maintain, and execute automation scripts for repetitive workflows and regression cases.
• Document and track bugs in a structured manner, ensuring clear communication with developers.
• Collaborate closely with the product and engineering teams to validate fixes and enhancements.
• Ensure proper test coverage for releases and provide clear

  test reports/results

  to stakeholders.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and release readiness activities.

• 5–7 years

  of experience in Automation QA, preferably testing

  SaaS or web-based platforms

• Strong experience with

  Selenium

  (UI testing, environment variables, assertions).
• Ability to write

  basic automation scripts

  (e.g., JavaScript snippets in Postman or using frameworks like Selenium/PyTest is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of

  software testing methodologies

  , test case design, and defect reporting.
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Atlasian, or similar).
• Good understanding of QA processes for Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Experience with

  UI migration testing

  (validating functionality and design consistency during UI upgrades/migrations).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and test automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Newman, Playwright, Cypress, Selenium).
• Experience with API automation beyond Postman
• Knowledge of SaaS-based security testing and performance validation.
