Job Description: Automation Engineer (1–2 Years Experience) Position Overview We are looking for a motivated Automation Engineer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of PLC programming, HMI/SCADA systems, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities. Key Responsibilities Assist in the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions. Program and troubleshoot PLC systems (Siemens / Allen-Bradley / Schneider or equivalent). Develop and configure HMI/SCADA screens as per project requirements. Conduct system testing, debugging, and validation of automation equipment. Provide support for commissioning and site installation activities. Prepare project documentation, test reports, and technical manuals. Maintain and upgrade existing automation systems as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, mechanical, and production teams. Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related engineering field. 1–2 years of experience in industrial automation or control systems. Basic experience in PLC programming (Siemens / Allen-Bradley / Schneider recommended). Hands-on experience with HMI/SCADA configuration (WinCC, Wonderware, iFIX, EcoStruxure, etc.). Understanding of control panels, sensors, drives, and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, etc.). Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Good communication and documentation abilities. Preferred Skills (Good to Have)Knowledge of VFDs and servo systems. Experience in commissioning automation projects. Basic knowledge of safety PLCs and functional safety. Exposure to industrial IoT or data acquisition systems.
