Job Description

About the Role:

Automation Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize automation opportunities.
Conduct detailed process assessments, create Process Design Documents (PDDs), and perform cost-benefit analyses.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications for RPA developers.
Facilitate workshops and interviews with SMEs to gather current process details (AS-IS) and define the future automated state (TO-BE).
Collaborate with RPA developers during solution design, development, testing, and deployment phases.
Support the creation and execution of user acceptance testing (UAT).
Document risks, dependencies, assumptions, and constraints.
Ensure compliance with automation governance standards and best practices.
Track and report automation benefits and ROI to business stakeholders.
Bot monitoring and reporting and prepare RCA for Production Issues

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in business analysis or process improvement, with at least 1–2 years in RPA.
Hands-on experience with RPA tools like UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or Power Automate.
Strong understanding of process modelling and documentation (BPMN, flowcharts, SIPOC).
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, Jira and basic data analysis.
Experience in agile/scrum methodologies is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong knowledge/experience in Finance & Accounting processes
RPA certification (e.g., UiPath Business Analyst Foundation, Automation Anywhere Business Analyst).
Exposure to Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), OCR tools, or AI integration.
Experience with Process/Task Mining tools (e.g., UiPath Process/Task Mining, Celonis, ProcessGold, Power BI Process Mining).
Familiarity with change management and automation lifecycle governance.
