Autocad Designer

Position : AutoCAD Designer

Location : Manesar (Filter Division)

AutoCAD Designer

Key Responsibilities :

• Create accurate

  2D drawings

  and

  3D models

  of sheet metal components and assemblies using AutoCAD and related CAD tools.
• Prepare

  fabrication drawings

  ,

  bending details

  ,

  cutting layouts

  ,

  welding details

  , and

  BOMs (Bill of Materials)

  .
• Work closely with production teams to ensure drawings are feasible for

  manufacturing, punching/laser cutting, bending, welding, powder coating

  , etc.
• Modify and update designs as per

  engineering changes

  and

  customer requirements

  .
• Understand and implement

  GD&T

  , tolerances, material thickness, and sheet metal standards.
• Coordinate with vendors for feasibility and manufacturability improvements.
• Ensure drawings comply with

  quality standards

  and company guidelines.
• Maintain documentation and support in product development activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.

• 2–4 years of experience

  in sheet metal design (depending on your requirement).
• Strong hands-on experience in

  AutoCAD

  ;
• knowledge of

  SolidWorks

  or

  Inventor

  is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of

  sheet metal fabrication processes

  (laser cutting, punching, bending, welding, finishing, assembly).
• Knowledge of GD&T, tolerances, and engineering standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in

  manufacturing or sheet metal industry

  .
• Knowledge of

  ERP systems

  for BOM and production routing.
• Experience with

  electrical enclosures, HVAC, cabinets, or industrial equipment

  (optional based on company).
