🛠 Key Responsibilities
• Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models of casting components using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Develop pattern & core box drawings, machining allowances, draft angles, and shrinkage factors as per foundry standards.
• Modify drawings based on customer inputs, machining requirements, or production feasibility.
• Work closely with the pattern maker, production manager, and machining team for design accuracy.
• Review customer drawings and convert them to foundry-friendly casting drawings.
• Maintain drawing records, BOM, revision control, and documentation.
• Assist in simulation coordination (if required) for improving casting quality.
• Ensure all drawings follow industry and company standards.
