Introduction An Audit Head in a Bank is responsible collectively contribute to the robustness of the Bank’s internal controls, risk management and overall governance framework. Job Responsibilities:
1. To develop and implement a risk-based audit strategy aligned with the Bank’sobjective and regulatory requirements.2. To ensure that the Bank’s operations comply with relevant regulatorystandards and stay updated on changes in Banking Laws and regulation, RBIguidelines.3. To evaluate and strengthen internal controls to mitigate risks related tofinancial reporting, operational processes and compliance.4. To lead and manage a team of auditors, providing guidance, training andsupport to ensure the effective execution of audit plans.5. To conduct through risk assessments to identify and prioritize areas of concernwithin the Bank’s operations.6. To oversee financial audits including the examination of financial statementsaccounting practices and adherence to accounting standards.7. To conduct operational audits, fraud detection audits.8. To report the audit findings, recommendations and reports to seniormanagement and regulatory authorities.9. To monitor the implementation of audit recommendations, track progress andverify that corrective actions are effectively implemented.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:

• Graduate / Post graduate from a recognized university.
• CAIIB certification is mandatory.
• Should have at least 20-25 years of Banking experience with minimum 15 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certifications in CIA, CPA, or CA will be preferred. Behavioral Characteristics:

o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
o Excellent communication skills, Leadership skills.o Proficient in domain knowledge.o High level of inter-personal skills & integrity Age Below 50 years

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹3,000,000.00 - ₹4,500,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
