Role Description🎧 Job Title:Audio Engineer & Business Development Lead – Gretex Industries Limited📍 Location:Mumbai (Yamaha Music Square – Goregaon West / BKC – Corporate Office / Lower Parel – Corporate OfficeReporting To: Tanishq Harlalka – Management Team🧭 Role Summary:We are seeking a dynamic and technically sound Audio Engineer with business development capabilities to lead the implementation and expansion of our new and innovative concept. The ideal candidate will combine sound engineering expertise with strong presentation and client management skills, contributing to both the design and sales execution of the concept for high-end residential and commercial projects across India.🛠️ Key Responsibilities:🔊 Technical Design & Engineering- Assist in Designing and implementation of end-to-end acoustic solutions (soundproofing, audio layouts, gear placement)- Oversee equipment selection, wiring, calibration, and integration of Yamaha and partner brands (e.g., Sweton, Beta 3)- Manage the daily technical operations and upkeep of the demo Room- Collaborate with interior designers and acoustic consultants to ensure design fidelity💼 Business Development & Client Management- Pitch the business to real estate developers, society committees, architects, and individual homeowners- Conduct product demos, prepare commercial proposals, and assist in deal closures- Maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring post-installation satisfaction and upselling opportunities- Represent Gretex in on-site meetings, exhibitions, walkthroughs, and industry events 📊 Presentation & Marketing Support- Assist in the creation and delivery of technical presentations, demo walkthroughs, and marketing materials- Support the planning of live demo events, community outreach, and branding tie-ups- Liaise with the marketing team to document case studies, testimonials, and client feedback🧾 Reporting & Coordination- Maintain a pipeline of leads, update CRM systems, and track demo-to-deal conversion rates- Provide weekly reports on client activity, site assessments, project progress, and market intelligence✅ Ideal Candidate Profile:- Degree/Diploma in Audio Engineering, Sound Technology, Electronics, or AV Integration- 3–6 years experience in AV design, acoustic installation, or music-related project execution- Strong interest or background in sales, BD, or client-facing consulting- Knowledge of Yamaha audio systems and similar pro-audio brands (Sweton, JBL, Beta 3, etc.)- Comfortable working in both technical and business capacities💡 Bonus Skills (Preferred but Not Mandatory):- Experience with DAWs (Ableton, Logic), mixers, and acoustic simulation tools- Prior experience in studio setup, music education, or luxury lifestyle sales- Familiarity with tools like AutoCAD, Revit, or audio measurement software💸 Compensation:+ Incentives on converted projects+ Opportunity to grow into National Project Manager role as the business scales
