Job Description

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and closing new business opportunities to drive revenue growth for Softlines and Hardlines businesses in West Region. You will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base and establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders. This position requires a strategic mindset, strong communication skills, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

Key Areas of Focus

  • Identify and prioritize key customers/segments and prospects within the relevant target market.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth by leveraging technical capabilities of the team.
  • Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders to understand their needs and pain points.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and potential opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, Lab representatives/SMEs, and customer success, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contract terms and agreements, ensuring favourable outcomes for both parties.
  • Track and report on sales performance metrics, providing regular updates to management
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new client accounts; maintain and grow existing customer relationships.
  • Promote and represent the companys Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) services to industry stakeholders (manufacturers, exporters, brands, buying houses).
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and quotations.
  • Knowledge of all testing requirements of Softlines & Hardlines products.

B. Tech.- Textile Chemical/ B.Sc./ M.Sc.-Chemistry or Textile Chemistry

MBA in Marketing

Relevant Experience

5-7 years' experience in business development in Testing, Inspection & Certification business or any of the above product categories.

  • Responds effectively to changing market conditions and team dynamics.
  • Must have Results-Oriented Mindset
  • Listens actively to team members and clients.
  • Analysis market trends and adapts strategies accordingly.
