Job Title: Associate Sales Manager - Bancassurance
Company Name: Axis Max Life Insurance Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic Associate Sales Manager for our Bancassurance channel at Axis Max Life Insurance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business by acquiring and managing relationships with bank partners. The Associate Sales Manager will work closely with the bancassurance team to drive sales targets, develop strategic initiatives, and ensure the successful implementation of insurance products to bank customers. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve business targets in collaboration with bank partners.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise bank staff to ensure they are equipped to sell insurance products effectively.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to bank partners to enhance their sales capabilities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with bank personnel and customers to foster trust and drive sales growth.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to design promotional campaigns and sales tools that drive sales performance.
  • Prepare reports and conduct performance analysis to track success and areas for improvement.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably within insurance, financial services, or bancassurance.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with bank partners and customers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify opportunities and develop strategic solutions.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Adaptability to changing market conditions and willingness to embrace new challenges.

Tools and Technologies:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and presentations.
  • Familiarity with CRM software for managing client relationships and sales activities.
  • Knowledge of insurance products and regulations in the bancassurance sector.
  • Understanding of financial analysis and forecasting tools.
