You will gain significant experience, getting opportunities in performing a variety of roles in both Inbound and Outbound Product Management.

Your Role And Responsibilities

As a product manager at IBM, you will be responsible for Competitive Research Analysis and you play a critical role in researching, analyzing and reporting on IBM Storage products’ competitive landscape. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented self-starter with strong research, analytical and communication skills. The candidate must be capable of crafting executive level summaries and documents. A successful candidate will also be able to use AI tools and techniques to maximize the effectiveness of their research.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research
  • Independent research on competitors
  • Stay up to date on AI tools that will optimize research
  • Competitive Analysis:
  • Research and analyze competitors of IBM Storage products on a regular, frequent basis
  • Capture substance of competitor press releases, earnings calls, annual reports and other information sources
  • Understand competitor business models and analyze their performance
  • Insightful Reporting:
  • Regular executive summary of competitive activity
  • Regular all-storage summary
  • Periodic detailed reports on competitors

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • MBA (required), preferrably with specialization and experience in Product Management, competitive analysis, market research, or strategic marketing a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in AI tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Familiarity with storage technology or enterprise IT solutions is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to dissect complex data and draw actionable conclusions.
  • Strategic Communication: Skill in creating persuasive, visually engaging reports.
