Job Description

As a product manager at IBM, you will be responsible for Competitive Research Analysis and you play a critical role in researching, analyzing and reporting on IBM Storage products’ competitive landscape. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented self-starter with strong research, analytical and communication skills. The candidate must be capable of crafting executive level summaries and documents. A successful candidate will also be able to use AI tools and techniques to maximize the effectiveness of their research.Key Responsibilities:1. Research

Independent research on competitors

Stay up to date on AI tools that will optimize research

2. Competitive Analysis:

Research and analyze competitors of IBM Storage products on a regular, frequent basis

Capture substance of competitor press releases, earnings calls, annual reports and other information sources

Understand competitor business models and analyze their performance

3. Insightful Reporting:

Regular executive summary of competitive activity

Regular all-storage summary

Periodic detailed reports on competitors

Required education
Master's Degree Preferred education
None Required technical and professional expertise

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Data Analytics, or arelated field

MBA (required), preferrably with specialization and experience in Product Management,competitive analysis, market research, or strategicmarketing a plus.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in AI tools.

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Familiarity with storage technology or enterprise IT solutions is a plus.

Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
