Responsibilities

The Associate Manager - School Operations will be an integral part of a school team and will report directly to the School Principal. They will oversee the entire operations of the school to bring in efficiency and excellence in school ops, indirectly impacting the learning experience of students inside the school. The Associate Manager School Operations will work on 3 key responsibilities of School Administration, Management and Stakeholder relations. We are looking for people eager to design and manage the most effective systems and processes, combining researched best practices with their contextual innovation and collaboration.

Team Management (25%)

  • Directly manage the Network operations team (Administrative associates).
  • Manage the growth and development of operations team members.

Operations & Administration (40%)

  • Work in close partnership with the School Principal and leadership team to ensure aligned procedures for the school (attendance, government compliance work, entry/exit procedures).
  • Design, implement & monitor SOPs for different school setup processes that are useful for the school team.
  • Develop, implement and monitor plans for school infrastructure improvement and maintenance.
  • Collate school and office requirements, systematize, and monitor procurement and utilization.
  • Design and implement tech solutions for efficient school operations.
  • Lead and manage different events for the school, such as Family Day, Onboarding of new staff, sports/cultural events, etc.
  • Design and operationalize school audits.
  • Partner with the School Principal to build and monitor the school budget.

Stakeholder and Vendor Relations (35%)

  • Establish long-term and sustainable relationships with community stakeholders.
  • Identify the right fit Vendors & Service Providers for different requirements as - Infrastructure, school stationery, mid-day meals, holistic development programs for students, etc.
  • Serve as a liaison between the iTeach Schools Network team and the school team for HR, Finance, IT, Government related requirements and processes.

Prerequisites

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree with strong performance.
  • Required: Minimum 2 years of work experience in operations or event/project management.
  • Preferred: worked in school operations.
  • Preferred: managed a team for 1+ years.
