Associate Director Grade


Role Overview

Associate Director Event Management Marketing


Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a comprehensive event strategy that aligns with our organizational goals and enhances brand visibility.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in planning and executing all aspects of events, including digital and on-ground brand visibility, logistics, vendor management, and audience engagement.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and financial accountability.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, sponsors, and partners to maximize event impact and reach.
  • Build and enhance effective SOPs with clear communication on roles, responsibilities, and escalation path. Implement a transparent communication strategy by using multiple channels for updates on event status and encouraging open feedback.
  • Oversee post-event evaluations, analyzing attendee feedback and metrics to continuously improve future events.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to innovate and elevate our event offerings.


Required and Preferred Qualifications


Required:

  • 12+years of experience in event management, with a proven track record of successfully executing large-scale events.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Preferred:

  • Experience in digital event production and hybrid event management.
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools, and CRM tools.
  • Knowledge of marketing and promotional strategies to enhance event attendance and engagement.

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies

  • Expertise in event planning software (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite) and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello).
  • Strong understanding of virtual event platforms and technologies.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to inform event strategy and decision-making.
  • Ability to define drip campaigns, messaging and working knowledge of CRM tools like Pardot, HubSpot, etc.
  • Ability to leverage AI tools to create banners, HTML mailers, social media video editing
