How will you make an impact in this role?

We have some great new opportunities to join the Product team responsible for the design and launch of a new service portal called ISP (Intuitive Service Portal) including overseeing the Foundational components and Journey design supporting multiple lines of business. This position will be responsible for partnering with our technology, operation and strategy teams to drive the new user centric designed Servicing Portals leveraging user input and market tends in user experience design.

Responsibilities Include

  • Delivery a new user experience for our colleagues leveraging our new servicing platform (ISP) support multiple lines of business.
  • Drive a long-term strategic direction and align prioritization while ensuring user experience design and performance is optimized
  • Partner with central and local market cross-functional teams to ensure a global standard that meets local needs
  • Define and deliver system solutions that improve the User and Customer experience and drive operational efficiencies while creating a base product that enables future state capabilities.
  • Ability to thinking globally and deliver standard reusable journeys that span lines of business and markets.
  • Ensure agile standards are followed and that compliance, audit and legal requirements are adhered to for all initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain cohesive relationships with various internal and external business partners and create an effective technical partner model.
  • Optimize system performance and User efficiency by working with the engineering teams to ensure effective design and response times.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of products, future functionality, improve workflow, product launches and enhanced system capabilities, with a strong emphasis on quality and compliance. 
  • Be an active contributor to a future state.
  • Document features, user stories and work with the scrum teams to prioritize the user stories

Preferred Qualifications


  • 3-5 years of experience in Product Management and/or Product Development
  • Experience with Servicing or Digital Experiences a plus
  • Proven customer centric design thinking
  • Enthusiasm and passion for great products and services and the ability to articulate product functionality
  • Deep knowledge of Product Ownership role and proven ability to create systems from the ground up.
  • Understanding of American Express tech and product development processes, known as a business person who can speak both tech and business languages
  • Curiosity and hunger to know how things work and ability to use that knowledge to find enhancement opportunities
  • Detailed oriented, able to identify key questions, make product decisions and determine how pieces of the puzzle interact and impact the overall project
  • Recognize issues quickly and determine how to go about getting resolution
  • Highly organized, taking individual initiative and accountability for getting results
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to engage, influence and inspire partners to drive collaboration and alignment
  • PM/PO certification is a preferred
