Responsibilities


  • Develop and Maintain Cost Accounting Systems

    – Establish and manage cost accounting frameworks (standard costing, activity-based costing) in line with international trade laws; monitor plant and departmental costs, and conduct detailed analysis.
  • Cost Strategy & Optimization

    – Drive cost strategy initiatives including standard/ABC design, cost-to-serve assessments, footprint/utilization analysis, and cross-functional cost-saving programs.
  • Variance Analysis

    – Analyze deviations between actual results and budgets; prepare variance reports and explain key differences.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration

    – Partner with department heads to ensure accurate projections and cost allocations.
  • Standard Costing & BOM Analysis

    – Maintain and review standard costing records, Bills of Materials (BOM), and overhead allocations in cost sheets.
  • Product Costing & Profitability Analysis

    – Conduct product costing, margin analysis, and cost-benefit evaluations to support pricing and strategic decisions.
  • Cost Control

    – Implement and monitor cost control measures across production units.
  • Performance Dashboards

    – Prepare financial and operational dashboards for management.
  • Strategic Planning Support

    – Provide detailed financial analysis to support strategic planning initiatives.
  • Inventory Analysis

    – Perform detailed analysis of inventory, including costing, valuation, and reconciliation.
  • Trend & Performance Reviews

    – Conduct trend analysis and periodic business performance reviews.
  • Profitability Insights

    – Deliver insights to enhance profitability and reduce inefficiencies.
  • Inventory Control

    – Monitor inventory costing and valuation processes.
  • Slow-Moving & Obsolete Inventory

    – Identify and analyze slow-moving and obsolete inventory to minimize financial impact.
  • Stock Audits

    – Assist in physical stock audits and ensure reconciliations are accurate.
  • Regulatory Compliance

    – Work closely with trade law authorities to ensure compliance with international trade regulations.


What We’re Looking For


  • Educational Qualification:

    CA / CMA / MBA (Finance)
  • 2–5 years of experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting & financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Effective communication & collaboration skills.
