Responsibilities

• Develop and Maintain Cost Accounting Systems

  Establish and manage cost accounting frameworks (standard costing, activity-based costing) in line with international trade laws; monitor plant and departmental costs, and conduct detailed analysis.

• Cost Strategy & Optimization

  Drive cost strategy initiatives including standard/ABC design, cost-to-serve assessments, footprint/utilization analysis, and cross-functional cost-saving programs.

• Variance Analysis

  Analyze deviations between actual results and budgets; prepare variance reports and explain key differences.

• Cross-Department Collaboration

  Partner with department heads to ensure accurate projections and cost allocations.

• Standard Costing & BOM Analysis

  Maintain and review standard costing records, Bills of Materials (BOM), and overhead allocations in cost sheets.

• Product Costing & Profitability Analysis

  Conduct product costing, margin analysis, and cost-benefit evaluations to support pricing and strategic decisions.

• Cost Control

  Implement and monitor cost control measures across production units.

• Performance Dashboards

  Prepare financial and operational dashboards for management.

• Strategic Planning Support

  Provide detailed financial analysis to support strategic planning initiatives.

• Inventory Analysis

  Perform detailed analysis of inventory, including costing, valuation, and reconciliation.

• Trend & Performance Reviews

  Conduct trend analysis and periodic business performance reviews.

• Profitability Insights

  Deliver insights to enhance profitability and reduce inefficiencies.

• Inventory Control

  Monitor inventory costing and valuation processes.

• Slow-Moving & Obsolete Inventory

  Identify and analyze slow-moving and obsolete inventory to minimize financial impact.

• Stock Audits

  Assist in physical stock audits and ensure reconciliations are accurate.

• Regulatory Compliance

  Work closely with trade law authorities to ensure compliance with international trade regulations.

What We're Looking For

• Educational Qualification:

  CA / CMA / MBA (Finance)
• 28 years of experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting & financial analysis.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Effective communication & collaboration skills.
