Industry & Context

• Property & Casualty Insurance (P&C):

  Insurance that covers property (homes, cars, businesses) and liability (accidents, injuries).

• Brokerage & Binding:

• Brokerage → Working with insurance brokers who connect clients with insurers.
• Binding authority → Brokers/agents authorized to accept risks and issue policies on behalf of insurers.

• Underwriting Operations:

  Support in evaluating risks, processing policies, and maintaining compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Leadership

   – Oversee day-to-day delivery of insurance operations (policy issuance, claims support, endorsements, renewals).

2. Team Management

   – Lead large operations teams (200–300 span), including managers and associates.

3. Broker & Underwriting Support

   – Ensure smooth handling of broker queries, policy binding, underwriting assistance.

4. Process Excellence

   – Drive SLA adherence, quality checks, and compliance with US insurance regulations.

5. Client Engagement

   – Interact with US clients/brokers, manage escalations, and ensure high service delivery.

6. Shift & Location

   – US shift timing, office-based role in Madurai & Noida.

Must-Have Skills

• P&C Insurance expertise

  (brokerage, underwriting, operations).

• Operations management

  (large team handling, SLA governance, process improvement).

• Broker experience

  (supporting brokers and binding authority).

• Leadership

  (span of 200–300 FTE).

• Flexibility to work in US shifts (night shifts)
